The Farmhouse South Radworthy

The Farmhouse is on our working farm in South Radworthy. It's a semi-detached cottage, attached to Bridge House. It's old, so mind your head on some of the beams. The stairs are a typical farmhouse staircase, so they're steep. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up well and everything is there.

It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That works well for groups. We allow two dogs. The garden is large and shared with the other properties. You get your own private patio area with a table. The view from the garden is over our fields towards Exmoor.

You're on the edge of Exmoor National Park. You can walk straight from the farm gate onto the moor. We get red deer around here. There are two fishing lakes on the estate, but you need to walk or use a 4x4 to get to them. Just ask and I'll point you the way.

The village of North Molton is a short drive and has a shop and a pub. South Molton is bigger for supermarkets and things.

For a day out, Tarr Steps and Dunkery Beacon are good on Exmoor. The coast at Lynton and Lynmouth is about a 30 minute drive. The beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde are famous, but they're a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife Park are within half an hour if you've got children.

Facilities are all there: wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a welcome pack with some basics and a cake.
