Bridge House

Bridge House is in South Radworthy, on Exmoor. It's part of a working farm, so you'll see cows and sheep. It's one of a pair of semi-detached cottages, but you have your own garden and patio area.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's a converted stone building, so the walls are thick and the rooms feel solid. You get a welcome pack with some basics when you arrive.

The cottage faces onto a shared cobbled courtyard with a pond. There's a large garden with good views. The main living room has a multi-fuel burner. There's a shared games room on site too, which is handy if the weather turns.

You can walk straight from the door onto the farm tracks and up onto Exmoor. The farm has its own woods and two spring-fed lakes with wild brown trout. If you want to fish, you need to ask for directions as the track isn't suitable for normal cars.

The local pub in North Molton is about two miles away. It’s a proper village pub. South Molton, about four miles, has supermarkets and other shops.

You're right on the edge of Exmoor National Park. For a good walk, head to the Dunkery Beacon area or Tarr Steps. The coast at Lynmouth and Lynton is about a 30 minute drive. They have a cliff railway connecting them. For a big sandy beach, Woolacombe is about 40 minutes by car.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. On-site parking. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
