Coombe View is a first-floor flat on our working farm in South Radworthy. It's near Exmoor. You're right on the edge of the National Park.
It sleeps six people, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well-equipped and comfortable. The main room is open plan, with a big picture window looking out over the fields. That's the best bit. There's a multi-fuel stove for cooler evenings, which works well.
You're welcome to use the big garden we look after. There's also a private spot to sit outside your door, around the cobbled yard. Please be aware there's a pond in the yard.
You can walk straight from the farm onto Exmoor. We've got some tracks on the estate that go through the woods and past the lakes. You might see deer. We have two spring-fed lakes with wild brown trout. Fishing is sometimes possible, but you'll need to ask us for access as the track isn't suitable for normal cars.
The village of North Molton is a short drive and has a decent pub. South Molton is bigger, for shops.
Exmoor itself is the main thing here. You can drive up to Dunkery Beacon, or see Tarr Steps. The coast at Lynton and Lynmouth is about a 30-minute drive. They've got the cliff railway there. For beaches, you'd be looking at Woolacombe or Croyde, which are good but are more like a 45-minute drive.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair if needed. There's parking right outside. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
We leave a welcome pack for you when you arrive, with some basics and a homemade cake.
