Liston Hall Barn
Liston Hall Barn is a converted barn on our farm in Southey Green, Essex. It's a detached place, so it's just you and the garden. It sleeps ten people.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-finished. There are five bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom with a shower. That's handy for a big group. The main living space is open plan, so everyone's together. There's a games room too.
The garden is enclosed and private. It has a hot tub. The stairs to the first floor are fine, but there's a spiral staircase up to the games room in the eaves. It's quite tight.
You're on the edge of the village here. It's quiet and rural. Gosfield Lake is nearby for walks. The Visit Essex site has more ideas for places to go.
You're about ten minutes' drive from Braintree for supermarkets. Castle Hedingham is about a fifteen minute drive, it's a proper medieval castle. For a day out, Colchester is under half an hour. They've got the Roman walls and a good zoo.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
