Peacock On The Pin
Peacock On The Pin is next to the golf course in Stisted. It’s a detached place, so no neighbours to worry about. Good for two people.
It’s got one bedroom, one bathroom, and everything’s on the ground floor. There are no stairs at all. It has a five star rating, which means everything is fairly new, clean and works as it should.
The main thing is the private hot tub in the garden. It’s all enclosed, so you’ve got your own space.
The building is on a golf course. The third hole runs right beside it. You can walk to the Braintree Golf Clubhouse if you’re a member or want to play. They do food and drink there.
Stisted itself is small and quiet. There’s a community shop for basics. For a proper shop or lots of restaurants, Braintree is about four miles away. Freeport, the outlet shopping centre, is there, and you can get a train to London from Braintree station.
If you drive, there’s quite a bit to do. Audley End House and Gardens is about 10 minutes away. It’s a big country estate you can walk around. Colchester Zoo is good for a day out, and it’s under half an hour. For the coast, places like Maldon or Mersea are within 30 minutes for a walk by the water or some fish and chips.
Facilities are straightforward. There’s parking, WiFi, a TV, a shower. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets.
