Aylesbury Lodge
Aylesbury Lodge is on the edge of Greenstead Green in Essex. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. That's handy. The garden is fully enclosed and wraps around the place. There's plenty of parking.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have their own shower rooms, which is useful. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean, with an open plan living area.
There's a verandah with a private hot tub. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Halstead is about ten minutes drive. It's a proper market town with butchers, bakers, and a few pubs. The 500-year old coaching inn is worth a look. There are some nice walks along the River Colne there.
Within half an hour you can get to Colchester for the castle and zoo. Hedingham Castle is about fifteen minutes away. Freeport Braintree, the shopping outlet, is also fifteen minutes drive.
