Malibu Lakehouse is in Pentney, Norfolk. It's a wooden lodge right on the edge of one of the Pentney Lakes. It's a detached place, with its own deck and jetty.
It sleeps up to ten people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of those are ensuite bedrooms with doors out to a balcony over the lake. Two of the bedrooms are set up with three single beds each, which is handy for kids or friends sharing. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and finished.
Downstairs is mostly open plan. Big folding doors open the living area right onto the deck. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a coffee machine and a breakfast bar. Off that is a utility room, which is useful for drying wetsuits or towels. There's also a separate room with games consoles and books, and a toilet.
Outside, there's the deck, the private jetty, a gas barbecue hut, and the hot tub. The lake is there for you to use. You can bring your own boat or use the on-site waterski club for lessons and rides. There's a bar on the lakeside site and a play park for children.
In terms of location, it's quiet. King's Lynn is about seven miles away for bigger shops. The coast at Heacham or Hunstanton is about a twenty minute drive. The Sandringham Estate is close by for walks. For birdwatchers, the RSPB reserves at Roydon Common are nearby. The North Norfolk coast, places like Holkham and Blakeney, are within half an hour to forty minutes.
Facilities include the hot tub, the barbecue, parking, wifi, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair. It's listed as wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to three pets.
