Kathys Cottage

It's Kathy's Cottage. That's its proper name, but everyone just calls it the cottage by the river. It's in West Lynn, just over the river from King's Lynn town centre. You can see the water from the back garden.

It's a mid-terrace cottage and sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one double and one single. There's one bathroom, which is downstairs. It's got a three-star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not a showhome, it's a proper cottage. The stairs are a bit steep, like most old cottages.

The back garden is a patio, fully enclosed. It looks straight out onto the river. It's very quiet there. You get one parking spot on the driveway.

Inside, there's a living room with a fireplace, a separate kitchen with what you need, and that downstairs bathroom with a bath and shower. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

You're in West Lynn, so it's quiet, but you can walk over the bridge into King's Lynn in about fifteen minutes. It's a proper market town with the old bits down by the river, shops, and places to eat. The train station is there too, with a direct line to London if you need it.

For getting out, the Norfolk Coast is about half an hour's drive. Places like Hunstanton or Holkham. You've got Sandringham Estate about twenty minutes away. The Fens are right on your doorstep for walking or cycling along the river.
