This is Royal Dornoch, in Turnberry. It's a 5 Star cottage, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. It's inside the grounds of the Trump Turnberry resort, so you're surrounded by the golf courses and hotel. It's quiet.
The cottage sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The living area is open plan with a big TV. You get bedding and towels included. There's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.
Because it's part of the resort, you get access to the hotel's spa and swimming pool. There's a gym too. You also get a resident's rate if you want to book a round on the golf courses. The famous Ailsa course is right there.
The cottage has parking on site, including an electric vehicle charger. There's WiFi and a dishwasher.
For eating, the resort's main restaurant, 1906, is a short walk away. There's a local pub nearby as well.
Turnberry beach is just down the road for walks. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs through here. If you drive for about twenty minutes, you can get to Culzean Castle. It's worth a visit. National Trust for Scotland: Culzean Castle.
Further afield, you can get to Ayr or down to Galloway Forest Park within about forty-five minutes. Ailsa Craig is out in the bay. You can see it from the coast.
