Forge Masters Cottage Occlestone Green

This is Forge Masters Cottage. It's on the edge of our farm at Warmingham, near Occlestone Green. So you get fields out the windows, but you might hear a tractor sometimes. It's one of a pair of barn conversions.

It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms. One single is downstairs, next to a wet room. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath. The ceilings upstairs are sloped, with old beams. Watch your head in a couple of spots.

It's a 3 Star place. It's comfortable and clean. You've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Towels and bedding are included. There's parking right outside.

Location wise, it's quiet. You're about half an hour's drive from Chester. Good for a day out. Chester Zoo is popular. The National Trust's Tatton Park is about the same distance. Little Moreton Hall is too.

If you want hills, the Peak District is maybe 45 minutes to an hour, depending on where you go. Delamere Forest is closer, about 20 minutes, for walking or cycling.

Manchester and Liverpool are about an hour by car if you need a city. No pets, I'm afraid.

If you're coming with a bigger group, you can book the cottage next door as well. That sleeps four, so together they'd fit nine.
