Apple Tree Barn

This is Apple Tree Barn. It's on our farm at Walley's Green in Cheshire.

It's one of a pair of converted barns around a courtyard. It used to be the milking parlour, so there are exposed brick and beams. The ceiling is high. It has underfloor heating, which is nice in winter. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Parking is right outside.

You have your own patio area. The barn looks out over our fields. The sunsets can be very good from there.

We're a working farm, so you'll see us and the animals going about. There's sometimes a bit of noise from the yard, but it's generally quiet.

The nearest pub and shop are in Middlewich, about a ten-minute drive. It's a small town with a canal you can walk along. Nantwich is about fifteen minutes the other way. It's a nice old town with an outdoor saltwater pool that's open in summer.

You're well placed for day trips. Chester and Manchester are both about 40 minutes by car. For local walks, Delamere Forest is half an hour away. There are a few National Trust places within a 30-minute drive, like Tatton Park, Little Moreton Hall, and Dunham Massey.

Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium are about 45 minutes away. The Peak District is also about 45 minutes. The North Wales coast and Liverpool are roughly an hour's drive.

We don't allow pets, I'm afraid.
