Brook House Farm Cottage Walley's Green

Brook House Farm Cottage is on our farm. It's detached, surrounded by fields. The house itself is a bit of an upside-down one, so the living area and kitchen are upstairs.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's modern and comfortable inside, with oak floors and beams. The garden is enclosed and looks out over our land. There's a garage with table tennis and a mini football table.

The stairs up to the living floor are oak and open tread. Some people find them a bit steep. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and washing machine.

You're about a mile from a local shop and a pub. The pub serves food. Nantwich is the nearest proper town, about four miles. It has good shops and an outdoor swimming pool in summer.

You're well placed for getting out. There are plenty of National Trust places nearby, like Lyme and Dunham Massey. Chester is about 25 minutes by car for the Roman walls and the zoo. You can be in the centre of Manchester in about 45 minutes, or Liverpool in under an hour. The Peak District is about the same.

In terms of stuff here: parking on the drive, bedding and towels are included, there's a cot and highchair, and a BBQ in the garden. No pets allowed sorry, it's a working farm.
