Bess's Cottage Yatehouse Green

Bess's Cottage is on our farm in Byley. It's part of a stable block we converted a few years ago. You'll see cows in the fields.

It's for two people. One bedroom with a bathroom attached. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's all on one level and the doorway is wheelchair friendly, but there's a small step up to get into the cottage itself.

Inside it's open-plan. There's a kitchen area, a table, and a sofa. It's compact but it works. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi works fine.

You have your own little patio outside with a table. The garden area is shared with the other cottage. There's parking right outside.

It's quiet here. The shop is about two miles away in Middlewich. There's a couple of pubs about the same distance that do food. Middlewich has the canals, which are nice for a walk.

If you want to go out, you're about half an hour from a lot of things by car. Tatton Park is close. So is Little Moreton Hall. Delamere Forest is good for a walk. Chester Zoo is within that sort of distance too.

Further out, you can get to Manchester, Chester, or Liverpool in under an hour. The Peak District is about 45 minutes' drive.

Facilities are listed. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry, because of the farm.
