This place is called Root. It's in Pentre, which isn't actually Mochdre like some listings still say. Pentre is a little spot just outside Newtown in Powys.
It's a five star lodge. They're quite strict with those ratings, so it means everything's new and works properly. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, plus an ensuite shower room off the main bedroom. That main bedroom has a super king bed. You can make the second one up as twins or a super king.
The living area is all open plan. There's a log burner and underfloor heating. The kitchen has a dishwasher and an induction hob. The main thing out here is the big deck. There's a hot tub on it. The garden is fenced.
It's wheelchair friendly. One level from the parking space to the front door, and a wet room.
It's quiet here. You're looking out over fields. For a walk, you can go up the lane. Newtown is about three miles away for shops. The Hafren Forest is good if you want a proper woodland walk. It's about a 20 minute drive.
The Severn Way is nearby if you're into long distance paths. The Montgomery Canal is good for a flat stroll. If you don't mind driving half an hour, you can get to the edge of the Cambrian Mountains.
Everything like bedding and towels is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
