The Lara
The Lara is one of the lodges at Pentre, near Newtown. It's a modern, single-storey lodge, so everything is on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and has things like underfloor heating.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower. The other two bedrooms have beds you can make into twins or doubles, you just need to let us know beforehand. There's a family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
The main room is open plan. Big doors open onto the patio. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Outside, there's a private hot tub on the patio. The view is over fields.
It's a quiet, rural spot. Newtown is about a 15 minute drive for supermarkets and places to eat. For walking, you're well placed for the Hafren Forest and the Elan Valley reservoirs. The Shropshire Hills are just over the border, about a 20 minute drive.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. The lodge is wheelchair accessible. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
