The Look Out is a cottage near Dundrennan. It's detached, so no one shares a wall with you. It's at the end of a farm track. The sea views are the main thing. There are big windows in the living area so you can see it from inside.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
There's an enclosed garden. It's secure for a dog. We take one pet. The garden is mostly grass.
You're right on the Solway Coast here. There's a quietness to it. You'll see sheep in the fields, and a lot of birds.
Dundrennan Abbey ruins are a five minute drive away. Kirkcudbright is about twenty minutes. It's a proper little town on the water, good for a wander. Castle Douglas is maybe twenty-five minutes. They've got a lot of good food shops there if you're cooking.
You're well placed for driving along the coast. The National Trust for Scotland has a few properties nearby. For wider information, Visit Scotland's Solway page is useful.
It has parking right outside. There's a TV, and all the bedding and towels are provided. The heating and electricity are included.
