Prospect Cottage is in Catton. It's a detached cottage. It's in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is a mouthful, but basically means there are good views and good walks.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is just a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable.
It's got a wood burner for cool evenings. The kitchen has what you need. The garden is yours to use.
The village is quiet. There's a pub about five minutes' walk away. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is at the cottage.
For things to do, there's a golf course nearby and the river's good for fishing. Haydon Bridge station is a few miles off if you don't want to drive. The bus stops in the village.
You can get to Hadrian's Wall in under half an hour. The coast at Northumberland, places like Craster and Bamburgh, is about a 45 minute drive. Kielder Water is a bit further, maybe 50 minutes. Hexham is about 20 minutes by car.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
