This is Wick Cottage in Porthcawl. It sleeps two people in two bedrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been checked for quality and amenities. You can bring two dogs.
It's a small place but nicely done. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings and the kitchen has a glass roof panel which lets in a lot of light. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden at the back with a patio and a barbecue. You can park on the street right behind it. It's not right on the seafront, but the beach and the town centre are just a short walk away.
Porthcawl itself is a proper seaside town. There are a few pubs and shops, a promenade, and several beaches. Rest Bay is good for surf if that's your thing. For walking, the Glamorgan Heritage Coast path is nearby.
If you want to explore, you can drive over to Llanthony Priory in about half an hour. Dyffryn Gardens is also within a 30 minute drive. Bridgend is about ten miles away for bigger shops.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
