Secret Spot Porthcawl

Secret Spot is in Porthcawl. It used to be an artist's studio and stable, and some of the artist's own work is still on the walls. It's a detached building, so there's no one sharing a wall with you.

It's for two people. One bedroom and a shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The space is open plan, with the kitchen, living area and sleeping area all in one room. It's compact but it's been set up to make it work. There's a separate little porch area at the front, which is useful for leaving wet shoes or a dog's lead.

There's a small garden area and off-road parking that's gated. You go down a few steps from there to get to the front door.

The property takes two pets. There's a green right opposite and a pub that allows dogs across the road. The beach at Rest Bay is less than a mile away and is dog friendly.

Porthcawl itself has a harbour and an amusement park. There are surf schools if you want to try that. For a longer walk, the Wales Coast Path is right there. Inland, you can get to Gnoll Estate in Neath in about half an hour, or Margam Country Park in about 20 minutes.

Facilities: everything you'd expect like wifi, a shower, and bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
