The Dunes is in Kenfig, near Porthcawl. It's a small, single-storey cottage for two people. We call it a cottage, but it's modern inside. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's clean and everything works properly.
Downstairs is all one room. Kitchen, dining table, and a sofa. There's a wood burner. The bedroom is upstairs. It has a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. You can see the sea from the window, over Kenfig Pool and the dunes.
You're right on the edge of the Kenfig National Nature Reserve. The beach is about a thirty-minute walk across the dunes. It's a proper, quiet beach. You'll probably have it to yourself.
The village has two pubs, both a short walk away. They do food. For more shops and cafes, Porthcawl is a ten-minute drive. They've got the usual seaside stuff there. The Royal Porthcawl Golf Club is nearby if that's your thing.
You can get to Swansea in about twenty minutes by car. Cardiff takes about forty-five minutes. They're good for a day out if you want museums or shopping. Cowbridge is a nice market town about twenty minutes away.
In terms of what's there: there's a dishwasher, a TV, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the gravel area outside. No pets, sorry.
