Blakeskerra Barn
Blakeskerra Barn is a one bed barn conversion in Kenfig. It sleeps two. You can bring two dogs.
It's right on the edge of the Kenfig National Nature Reserve, which is a big area of dunes and wetlands. You can walk straight into it. The local beach is Sker, about a 20 minute walk away through the reserve. It's sandy and quiet, with no facilities, and dogs are allowed all year.
The local pub is very old, 15th century. They serve food. Its history means it's got a reputation for being haunted, if that interests you.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well finished. You've got a dishwasher, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
Margam Country Park is about a ten minute drive away. It's a big parkland with a lot to do. Porthcawl seafront is a short drive for cafes and more beach options. Further afield, you can get to the Gower Peninsula or into Cardiff in under an hour.
