Maylie Cottage is in East Rudham, in North Norfolk. It's a three bedroom cottage that sleeps six. It's got two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people.
We renovated it a few years ago. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's high spec and everything's new. There are beams, wooden shutters, that sort of thing. It's open plan downstairs, with a wood burner. The kitchen's got a Range cooker and a coffee machine.
There are two small courtyards out the back. They're enclosed by stone walls, so they're private. You can sit out there.
The village has a pub and a café right nearby. The pub does food. For bigger shops, you'd need to drive to Fakenham or King's Lynn.
You're about twenty minutes from the north Norfolk coast. Places like Holkham, Brancaster, and Wells-next-the-Sea are easy to get to. For history, Castle Acre Priory is just down the road and it's excellent. Old King's Lynn is about a half hour drive.
Facilities: it's all included. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels. There's bike storage if you bring them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
