Old Barn Cottage Uplawmoor

Old Barn Cottage is on our farm. It's a converted barn in the main courtyard, so you'll see us and the animals coming and going. It's not remote.

It sleeps seven, but it's three bedrooms. The setup is a bit unusual. There's a double bedroom downstairs. Upstairs, there's another double room but it has a single bed in it too, and then a third room that's just for sleeping. It's flexible, but it's all under one roof. There's one shower room, and it's on the ground floor.

Outside, there's a private garden at the back. It's enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two.

The place has a 3 Star rating. It's clean, warm, and everything works. It's a proper farm cottage. There's a TV, WiFi, parking, and all the bedding is provided.

You're in the countryside here. For walks, Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve is about a 20-minute drive. The coast at Ayrshire is roughly half an hour. The beach at Irvine or Troon is good for a proper walk.

If you want a big day out, Culzean Castle is about 40 minutes away. It's a National Trust for Scotland property with good gardens. Glasgow is about 35 minutes in the car if you need a city. The Kelvingrove Museum is worth a visit.

We've got another cottage on the farm that sleeps eight. You can book both together if you've got a bigger group.
