Old Stable Cottage Uplawmoor

Old Stable Cottage is here on our farm. It's our old stable block, converted. It's part of a courtyard, so next to a few other farm buildings. We live on site too, in the farmhouse.

The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a fancy hotel.

You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed. There's parking right outside the door.

You're on a working farm, about 200 acres. There are woods behind the cottage and you can walk straight out into them from the garden gate. You'll see the cows.

The local pub is half a mile down the road. They do food. The nearest shop is in Uplawmoor, about four and a half miles.

You can drive into Glasgow or Paisley in under half an hour. That's where all the shops, museums, and restaurants are if you want them.

Loch Lomond is about 35 miles north. It's good for a day out walking or on the water. The coast down towards Ayr is about the same distance the other way. You can get the ferry to Arran from there.

Inside, there's a wood-burning stove, which is nice in the evenings. WiFi works fine. There's a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
