Old Barn Farmhouse is one of four cottages on this working farm. It's semi-detached and sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. Everything works. The farm is over 200 acres and you can walk straight out into the woods from the garden.
You're on a proper farm, so you'll see cattle and sheep. There are farm tracks to walk along. It's quiet. The patio area is yours to use.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The nearest pub that does food is about a mile away in the village. The proper shops are in Newton Mearns, about a ten minute drive.
You're about half an hour's drive from central Glasgow. Paisley is closer, maybe twenty minutes. If you want the coast, places like Ayr and Troon are about forty minutes west.
Loch Lomond is the main draw for most people. It's less than an hour north. You're also about an hour from Edinburgh or Stirling if you fancy a day trip.
