Old Barn Farmhouse Uplawmoor

Old Barn Farmhouse is one of four cottages here on our farm. The farm's about 200 acres. You're on the edge of Uplawmoor, which is a quiet village. It takes about twenty minutes to drive into Glasgow if you want to go.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom upstairs. That's quite handy, I think. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works and it's clean.

You're on a working farm. You'll see sheep, and sometimes tractors going past. There are woodland walks straight from the back door. You don't have to get in the car. The garden is yours to use.

There's a pub that does food about a mile down the road. The nearest shop is in Neilston, four and a half miles away.

If you want a day out, Loch Lomond is about forty minutes' drive. The coast down towards Ayrshire is good for beaches. You can get to islands like Arran or Bute for a day trip, but you'd need to allow time for the ferry. Edinburgh is under an hour if you avoid the traffic.

For facilities: there's parking right outside. The heating is oil-fired, but there's a woodburning stove in the living room for cosy nights. We provide the logs. WiFi works. There's a washing machine. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
