Old Barn Farm Cottage Uplawmoor

Old Barn Farm Cottage is one of the cottages on our farm here in Uplawmoor. It's a working farm, about 200 acres. The cottage is in a courtyard with a couple of others.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. You get your own little patio area.

Being a farm, you're right in the countryside. There are walks through the woods straight from the door. You'll hear and see the animals. The farmhouse is nearby, but you've got your own space.

The pub is about half a mile down the road. The nearest shop is in Uplawmoor village, about seven miles. For a big shop, you'd go to Paisley or into Glasgow. They're about a 20-minute drive.

If you want to head into Glasgow for the day, it's easy. Museums, galleries, shopping, all that. For getting outside, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are less than an hour's drive north. The Ayrshire coast, with beaches like Troon, is about 40 minutes south. The ferry to Arran is from Ardrossan, which is around that too.

Facilities: everything's included, electricity, bedding, towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
