Old Barn Farm Cottage
Old Barn Farm Cottage is on our farm in Uplawmoor. It's a single storey place, so all on one level, which is handy. It sleeps two, with one bedroom and a bathroom right next to it.
It's got a 3 Star rating from VisitScotland. It's clean and comfortable, just not huge or modern.
You're right on the farm here, which is over 200 acres. There's a working farmyard, so you'll see tractors and hear animals. There are woodland walks you can start right from the door.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You get your own bit of garden with a table and chairs. Parking is right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if you need them.
The nearest pub is about half a mile up the road, and they do food. The closest shop is in Neilston, about seven minutes' drive.
It's a good spot for getting out. Glasgow and Paisley are about a 20 minute drive for museums and shopping. For walks and views, it's about 45 minutes up to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The Ayrshire coast, with beaches and places like Culzean Castle, is maybe half an hour south.
