The Calving Shed is on our farm. It's a detached barn we converted. You're on your own out here, it's quiet.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The doors are wide and there's no step to get in, so it's quite accessible.
You're on a working farm. There are cattle. You'll hear and see farm things happening. The woods behind the shed have paths you can walk straight into.
For a pint or to pick up a few things, the village is two miles away.
You can drive into Paisley in about fifteen minutes. Glasgow is maybe twenty-five. That's where you go for shops, museums, and restaurants.
If you want to get out properly, Loch Lomond is less than an hour's drive north. Good walking there. The coast south towards Ayr is about the same distance, for a different view. You can see Arran from there on a clear day.
Edinburgh and Stirling are both around an hour away by car if you fancy a city trip.
The place has a wood burning stove. There's a patio with a BBQ, and a bike store if you bring any. TV and WiFi are there. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. You can bring two dogs.
