Swaleside Cottage is in Topcliffe, which is a few miles south of Thirsk. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one floor. There's an enclosed garden at the back with a patio area and a BBQ.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's a kingsize, a double, and a twin room. Two bathrooms, one of them is a Jack and Jill style between two of the bedrooms. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's well equipped and comfortable.
You're welcome to bring up to two dogs. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. All bedding and towels are provided. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The cottage is on the edge of the village. There's a local pub within walking distance. The River Swale is very close by, and fishing licences are included with your stay if that's your thing.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Thirsk is about ten minutes' drive north. The North York Moors National Park starts not far to the east. For a day out, York is roughly half an hour south by car. The coast, places like Whitby or Scarborough, is about an hour's drive.
