The White House is a detached bungalow at the end of a quiet lane on the west edge of Callander. It's got three bedrooms, sleeps six, and has one bathroom.
It's a clean, modern place with good facilities. The open plan living area is a nice size. It's warm and bright. The garden is fully enclosed and gets the sun in the evening. There's parking right outside.
In terms of location, you're right on the edge of town. It's about a ten minute walk to the main street with the shops and cafes. There's a local pub, the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park office and visitor centre is just down the road, which is handy for maps and advice. From the house you can walk straight onto the Callander Crags path, or down to the River Teith.
For bigger days out, you're in a good spot. The Loch Katrine steamer is about 20 minutes drive. Stirling Castle is about half an hour. Doune Castle is about 15 minutes. If you want to go walking, Ben Ledi is just outside town, and Ben A'an gives you a great view over Loch Katrine. The Walkhighlands website is very good for route ideas.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. All bedding and towels are provided. It's a no smoking property. No pets, sorry.
