Moulsham House

Moulsham House is in Stoke Ferry, on a lane just off the village green. It's a tall old house, Grade II listed. The garden is completely walled in, so it's private.

It sleeps up to ten people. There are four bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and well maintained.

You can bring up to three dogs. The garden is secure, which helps.

There are two living rooms. One has an open fire. The other has a bar with a stock of drinks you can use, on an honesty basis. There's also a games room with a pool table and dartboard.

The kitchen is large and has everything you'd need. The dining room fits everyone. There's a conservatory off it with doors to the garden.

Outside, there's a hot tub, a barbecue, and plenty of space on the lawn. You can park several cars on the drive, and there's an electric vehicle charger.

The village has a pub within walking distance. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Downham Market, which is about ten minutes away.

If you're walking, there are public footpaths straight from the village into the fields. Oxburgh Hall is a National Trust place you can walk to via those trails, which is nice. Gooderstone Water Gardens are a short drive, good for a gentle stroll.

For a day out, Thetford Forest is about half an hour away. They've got walking and cycling trails, and a Go Ape. The Norfolk coast is within a 30 to 40 minute drive. Snettisham has a sandy beach and is a nature reserve. Hunstanton is the traditional seaside town with a pier. Sandringham Estate is also about half an hour by car.

Facilities include all the bedding and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, and stairgate. The wi-fi works fine.
