The Granary
The Granary is near Stoke Ferry on its own farm track. It's a detached house on a working sheep farm, just by itself at the end of the drive.
It sleeps twelve people. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out. The main living space is open plan with big windows looking straight out at the fields. You'll see the sheep out there and there's a farm pond with birds.
The stairs are very steep and spiral. You need to be careful on them. The ground floor has a wet room and the doorways are wide, which might work if you have someone with mobility issues, but the stairs are a factor.
You've got plenty of room outside. There's a patio and garden area. Good for kids to run around. You can walk around the farm tracks. We allow up to two dogs.
A pub is about a mile away in the village. Oxburgh Hall, which is National Trust, is also about a mile. That's well worth a visit.
For days out, the Norfolk coast is maybe 40 minutes by car. Gooderstone Water Gardens is nearby. The towns of Swaffham and Downham Market are close for shops. King's Lynn is about twenty minutes away.
Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi, electricity. There's parking right there. Facilities are all modern: dishwasher, washing machine, TVs.
