Lavender Cottage Methwold

Lavender Cottage is in Methwold. It's a small, timber-framed place right in the centre of the village, across the road from the big church.

It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The bed is a four poster. There's a wood burner. The stairs are steep and narrow, just so you know.

The garden is enclosed at the back. It's private. In there is a separate building with a sofa and a big screen. It's set up for films. The screen pulls down electrically. It has surround sound. It's quite a thing.

Facilities wise, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and bedding is included. You can bring one dog.

The village pub is a short walk away, maybe five minutes. They do food. The nearest shop for groceries is about six miles away in Brandon or Downham Market, so you'll want to drive.

If you're driving, you can be at the North Norfolk coast in about 45 minutes. Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are up there. Thetford Forest is a 20 minute drive. Good for walking and cycling. You can hire bikes nearby.

For days out, Sandringham House is less than half an hour away. So is Oxburgh Hall, which is National Trust. Ely Cathedral is about 30 minutes drive. It's very big.
