Hockwold Hall Hockwold cum Wilton

Hockwold Hall is a big old house near the village of Hockwold cum Wilton. It sleeps 26 people. It's a proper hall, Tudor sort of era, built on an even older site. The current owners live nearby and have done it up.

There are nine bedrooms. Eight of them have their own bathroom. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

It's set in 50 acres of its own land. You'll see it from the driveway. Outside, there's a hot tub, a sauna, a flood-lit tennis court, a croquet lawn, and a summer house. There's a big BBQ and a fire pit.

Inside, the kitchen is large and has what you'd need for a big group. There's a dining room, a living room, and a cellar bar done up like a 1920s place. There's also a gym.

The stairs are typical for a building this age. They're not steep in a dangerous way, but they are old and have character.

The local pub is about 300 yards away. There's a shop half a mile away. The house is sometimes used for weddings and there's a ceremony room you can hire if that's what you're planning.

For days out, Thetford Forest is about a 15-minute drive. You can walk or cycle there. The Norfolk coast, places like Hunstanton, is roughly half an hour by car.
