The Suffolk
The Suffolk is an apartment on the ground floor in Brandon. It's got its own private entrance so you can come and go.
It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom with a kingsize bed and a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's open plan inside, so it's one main room for kitchen, dining, and sitting area.
There's a small courtyard garden out the back and private parking. The garden is shared with the other properties but it's mostly just a lawn going down to the River Ouse. You can walk straight out onto it. People fish there. You can hire rowing boats too.
Everything's included: bedding, towels, electricity, wifi. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. TV. The shower is a walk-in one.
The owners run a hotel a few minutes walk away. You can get breakfast there if you want. Shops and places to eat are about 25 yards from the apartment.
Brandon's on the edge of Thetford Forest. It's about an eight minute drive to the main bit. Miles of walking and cycling. There's tree-top adventure stuff there too. The Forestry England site has maps and details.
Local golf course is ten minutes drive. The towns of Thetford and Swaffham are about twenty minutes away for supermarkets and bigger shops.
If you want to go further, Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, and Ely are all within an hour's drive. The North Norfolk coast, places like Hunstanton, are about an hour away as well.
