Riverside Cottage Brandon

Right, Riverside Cottage. It's in Brandon, Suffolk, near the river. It's detached, set in the grounds of the hotel I run, but it's private. You get the whole garden to yourself.

It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, plus another bathroom on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and everything's fairly new. It's open plan downstairs, kitchen with a big table and an island. The sofas are big, there's a large TV, and we've put a floor plug in so you can plug in laptops easily.

The main thing outside is the enclosed garden and the private hot tub. You can see the river from there. The hotel gardens are next to you, and they lead right down to the riverbank. It's a quiet spot to sit. You can hire rowing boats from the hotel if you fancy it.

You're about a minute's walk from Brandon High Street. There's a supermarket, a few shops, cafes, and a pub. The hotel does breakfast if you don't want to cook. It's an option.

For walks, you can head out straight from the door along the river. Thetford Forest is close, about ten minutes by car. It's massive. Good for walking, cycling, and they have a Go Ape there. There's a golf course about the same distance away.

The market towns of Thetford and Swaffham are twenty minutes or so drive. They've got the usual shops and supermarkets. If you want a proper day out, Norwich or Cambridge are both under an hour. The North Norfolk coast, with places like Hunstanton, is about an hour's drive.

Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We allow pets, up to three.
