The Norfolk is a first-floor apartment in Brandon, Suffolk. It's got its own private entrance from the street. You're not sharing with anyone else.
It sleeps four. There's one main bedroom with a super kingsize bed, and then a sofa bed in the living space. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and everything's in good order.
The space is open plan, so the living area, dining bit, and kitchen are all in one room. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to cook. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You've got a patio area with garden furniture. It looks out towards the River Ouse, which the hotel gardens back onto. You can walk down there. They sometimes have rowing boats for hire on the river.
Brandon high street is a couple of minutes' walk away. There are a few shops and places to eat. The owners run a hotel a short walk along the road, which does breakfast.
Thetford Forest is very close, about eight minutes by car. It's a huge area for walking and cycling. There's Go Ape there for tree-top climbing if that's your thing. The Norfolk Cycle Way runs through here too.
For a day out, Ely and its cathedral are about half an hour's drive. Bury St Edmunds is similar. The North Norfolk coast, with beaches like Hunstanton, is about an hour away.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site, WiFi, and a TV. There's also access to a gym at the hotel. No pets, sorry.
