Marshall Cottage Santon Downham

Marshall Cottage is an old barn we converted. It's on its own, detached. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own shower room ensuite. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and finished to a good standard.

The main living space is open plan, kitchen and sitting area together. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog. There's a hot tub out there.

It's in Santon Downham, which is right on the edge of Thetford Forest. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. You're surrounded by pine trees. It's quiet.

The local shop is two miles away. The nearest pub is about four miles. There's a restaurant three miles away.

For a day out, Thetford town is close. Bury St Edmunds is about twenty minutes by car, it's got the abbey gardens and the town centre. Newmarket, for the racing and the National Stud, is about half an hour away. The coast, around Southwold or Aldeburgh, is roughly a forty-five minute drive.

Stuff that's here: parking, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, cot and highchair available. All bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible to get inside, and the main living area and one bedroom are on the ground floor.
