The Little Barn Denham

The Little Barn is on our property on the edge of Hoxne in Suffolk. It's detached, so you're on your own. You've got your own enclosed garden at the front. We're at the main house, but the barn is separate and private.

It's a 5 Star place, which means it's got everything you need and it's well kept. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor.

Inside, it's all open plan. It feels quite spacious because of that. There's a walk-in shower. The windows look out over the fields. Out the back of our land, there's a bit of woodland with a path, and we've left a basketball hoop up on the hardstanding from when our kids used it.

Hoxne village is about a two minute drive. There's a pub that does food, a village shop and a post office. For a bigger shop, Diss is about fifteen minutes away.

The coast is about half an hour's drive. Southwold is the main one, with the pier and the lighthouse. For a quieter beach, Covehithe is good. If you're into birdwatching, RSPB Minsmere is about forty minutes away. For walking, Dunwich Heath is nearby too.

Other places within half an hour: Framlingham Castle, Snape Maltings for concerts and shops, and Beccles. Beccles has an open-air lido and it's where you can get onto the Norfolk Broads.

The barn has parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger. WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are all included. There's a cot if you need it. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
