The Harbour Nook
The Harbour Nook is an apartment right on the harbour in Dunure. It's a ground floor flat. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that.
The main thing is the view. Both bedrooms look straight out over the harbour. The living room does too. You get the sunsets, which are very good here. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
Dunure itself is small. There's a pub. The beach is about a hundred yards away. You're right on the Ayrshire Coastal Path, so you can walk straight out the door. You can walk south along the coast all the way into the Culzean Castle estate, which is a good day out.
By car, Turnberry golf course is about ten minutes away. The town of Ayr is about fifteen minutes. You can get boat trips from nearby Girvan out to Ailsa Craig if you want to see the birds.
Further afield, Galloway Forest Park is about half an hour's drive. It's a huge area for walking. They also have the Dark Sky Park status if you're into stargazing.
In the flat there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
