The Beach House is in Dunure. It's right on the harbour edge, next to the pub. The back door is maybe twenty steps from the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring one dog.
The local pub is right next door. They do food. The village is small, just a few houses and the castle ruins up on the cliff.
You're on the Ayrshire Coastal Path here. You can walk for miles either way. It's good for watching birds and seals. Look across the water and you can see Arran.
By car, Ayr is about fifteen minutes south for bigger shops. Culzean Castle is about ten minutes drive. They've got great walks there, through the woods and along the beach. Turnberry golf course is twenty minutes down the coast.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. We provide bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We can put a cot or highchair in if you need one.
If you're coming with a bigger group, we have two other cottages here at the harbour you could book together.
