Aird Steading Cottage

Aird Steading Cottage is on our farm, near Ardfern. It's detached. You get the building to yourselves and the garden, which is enclosed. The views are the main thing. You can see Loch Craignish out one side, and the islands out the other. Jura, Scarba, Mull. On a clear day you can sit at the window for ages.

It's for two people. One bedroom with a big super king bed. One bathroom with a spa bath. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Everything's included, bedding and towels too. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.

The farm tracks lead down to a few little bays. It's quiet. You see seals, lots of birds. The village of Ardfern is about two and a half miles away. It has a pub that does food, a shop, a cafe, and a marina.

If you want to go out, Oban is about an hour's drive north. That's where the main ferries go to the islands. Inveraray is to the east, maybe 45 minutes. For a good day out, you can drive down the Kintyre peninsula. It's longer, but the scenery is great.

No pets, sorry. The parking is right outside.
