The Factors House
The Factors House is our place in Slockavullin, next to our own house. We're right in Kilmartin Glen. It's a very old area, full of standing stones and cairns you can walk to from the door.
It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy for a big group. It has a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner, decent wifi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. You can bring two dogs. The garden is yours to use, and there's parking right there.
A shop and a pub are about a mile away, which is the closest you'll get out here. For a bigger shop, Lochgilphead is about eight miles.
You're in the middle of it all for exploring. The coast is about twenty minutes by car. Oban is roughly half an hour north if you need ferries or a bigger town. The Historic Environment Scotland site has details on all the ancient stuff around here. For walks and general area info, Scotland's National Parks is useful.
The stairs inside are a typical cottage staircase. They turn a corner and are a bit steep.
