Fell View Cottage
This is Fell View Cottage. It's in Boltonfellend, which is Cumbria but not the Lake District proper. It’s quiet. You look out at fields.
It’s a converted barn, semi-detached with the cottage next door. We did it up in 2023 so everything’s new. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is open plan, kitchen, dining, living area. Big patio doors let a lot of light in. The stairs are steep though, just so you know.
You’re on a quiet lane. The nearest towns for shops and pubs are Brampton and Longtown, a short drive away.
It’s a good spot for getting out. The Lake District National Park is about half an hour's drive. Carlisle’s close for history. The Solway Coast is that way. Hadrian's Wall is a must if you’re interested, it’s a UNESCO site. You can be in Scotland in twenty minutes.
Garden is enclosed. Parking for two cars on the drive. You’ve got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
You can rent it together with Old Byre Cottage next door if you’ve got a bigger group.
