The Chicken Shed is in Cold Ashton. It's a small barn that used to be a chicken coop. We converted it, kept the beams and some of the old coops. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's not huge. It's for two people.
It's all on one level. Open plan living room and kitchen, with doors out to a little gravel garden. There's underfloor heating, which is nice in winter. The view from the garden is over fields.
The kitchen has a small fridge but no freezer. The shower is a walk-in one. The bed is a standard double.
Cold Ashton is a quiet village. There are a couple of pubs within a few miles drive that do good food. You're five miles from the M4 junction, so it's easy to get to.
Bath is about twenty minutes away by car. All the Roman Baths and Georgian stuff is there. The National Trust Bath Skyline walks are good if you want a proper walk with a view of the city.
Lacock village is about a twenty minute drive. It's a National Trust place and they've filmed a lot of period dramas there. Castle Combe is similar, maybe twenty-five minutes. Both are nice for a wander.
If you want a day out, you can get to Longleat or Avebury stone circle in under an hour. Stonehenge is about forty-five minutes.
It has wifi and a smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
