Rose Cottage is in Cold Ashton. It's a semi-detached, Grade II listed cottage. There are two of them side by side. It's in a conservation area on the Cotswold Way.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been restored, but they kept the original bits like the stone fireplace and the beams. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
You're right on the Cotswold Way footpath, so walkers can just step out the door. The National Trust's Dyrham Park estate is a ten minute drive. Badminton Horse Trials are nearby in season. Westonbirt Arboretum is about a 25 minute drive, which is good for a walk.
Bath is about five miles away. That's where you'd go for most things: shops, restaurants, the Roman Baths. Bristol is less than half an hour by car.
Facilities are all included. There's a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
