Honeymead Cottage

Honeymead Cottage is in Upton Cheyney, a small village outside Bath. It's a detached cottage at the end of a lane, so it's quiet. You get an acre of garden, mostly to the front, with a proper patio area. The views are over fields.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside, everything works and it's clean. The cottage is south facing, so the main room gets the sun.

There's a wood burning stove. We leave some logs for you to start with. It has a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.

The village doesn't have its own shop or pub. The nearest are about a mile away in Wick, which is a short drive. They're good.

Bath is about five miles. That's your main place for shops, restaurants, and the Roman Baths. It's a World Heritage city so parking can be tricky, but the park and ride is easy.

If you want to get out, there's lots within half an hour. The National Trust's Dyrham Park is close. So is the city of Wells with its cathedral. You can get to Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, or Bradford-on-Avon without much trouble. Longleat Safari Park is about forty minutes if you don't hit traffic.

There's local fishing and a golf course nearby, details are in the cottage information folder.
