Willow Lodge is a detached bungalow just outside Macduff town centre. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place has been modernised recently. It's all on one floor, which is good if stairs are a problem. The garden is fully enclosed and split over a couple of levels. It's got a patio area too.
You're about a five minute drive from the beach here. The Macduff Aquarium is a ten minute walk, maybe less. It's good for kids. The local pub and a restaurant are about the same distance away on foot. There's a shop even closer.
Macduff itself is a proper fishing town. You get good sea views and the sunsets can be great. The Duff House estate is in Banff, just over the bridge. It's got art and walks. Historic Environment Scotland has the details.
If you like whisky, the Macduff Distillery is about a mile away. Heading west along the coast, Portsoy is nice for a wander. You can often see dolphins in the Moray Firth. For a big day out, Fyvie Castle is about half an hour's drive inland. The National Trust for Scotland looks after it.
There are golf courses nearby, like Royal Tarlair. The river Deveron is known for fishing if that's your thing.
For facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a woodburning stove, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to four dogs.
