Willow Lodge is in Macduff. It's a detached bungalow, so all on one level which is handy. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It sleeps six. We've just done it up so it's fresh and clean. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The garden is fully enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. It's split over a couple of levels with different patio bits. You get the sun in the evening.
You're about five minutes in the car from the beach. The shop is a couple of minutes' walk. The pub and a restaurant are about ten minutes on foot. The restaurant does local seafood.
In Macduff itself, the aquarium is good for a wet day. The Macduff Distillery is about a mile away if you want a tour. Duff House is in Banff, just over the bridge. It's a grand old house with art and parkland. Historic Environment Scotland page for Duff House.
For a drive, Portsoy is along the coast to the west. You can sometimes see dolphins in the Moray Firth. Fyvie Castle and Pitmedden Garden are both within half an hour. There are plenty of golf courses around, like Royal Tarlair.
The place has parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove for cooler nights. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. WiFi and TV are there. We allow up to four dogs.
