Ocean View
This is Ocean View in Banff. It's a bungalow, just one floor, so no stairs to worry about. Semi-detached, end of a quiet cul-de-sac.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The main thing is the view. The living room has patio doors, and the front bedroom has big windows, both looking straight out over Boyndie Bay to the sea. You can sit out on the private patio and the coastal path runs right alongside the fence.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about five minutes walk away. The two beaches, Inverboyndie and Banff Bay, are also a walk away, maybe fifteen minutes. They're good, sandy beaches.
Banff town centre is close, a couple of minutes in the car. Duff House is there, which is a National Trust for Scotland property with a golf course. For other local information, National Trust for Scotland Duff House and VisitAberdeenshire are useful.
If you want to drive, you're well placed. The Malt Whisky Trail distilleries are mostly within half an hour. For dolphins, the nearest boat trips are from Macduff Harbour, about ten minutes away. Aberdeen is under an hour's drive south.
Facilities: it's all on one level, parking right outside, enclosed garden, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, a cot if needed. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
