The Smithy

The Smithy is situated in the beautiful peaceful countryside enjoying stunning views just 5 miles from the centre of St Andrews. Recently converted from an old barn, The Smithy is one of five spacious and gorgeous properties. Each property has its own private entrance and looks out over the far-reaching uninterrupted views over the Eden Estuary and beyond. Set within the grounds of Knockhill Farm, the Smithy offers a fantastic open plan living space and stunning views of the countryside. The bedrooms and bathrooms are accessed up three steps. Each bedroom offers a super kingsize bed or two twins. Each room has their own bathroom, with walk in power shower, heated towel rail, demister mirror with shaving and electric toothbrush points, towels and complimentary toiletries. There is underfloor heating and free Wi-FI. A large separate dining room with kitchen can be hired for special occasions and large family gatherings.
St Andrews is full of history and culture and famous for its university where Prince William and Kate met along with being the birthplace of golf. Enjoy a round of golf on some of world’s most famous golf courses or spend the day shopping in this beautiful historic town. If the weather is nice, relax on the golden sandy beaches. Travel along the Fife coastline and you will some discover some of the most picturesque fishing villages still working today. This really is the perfect base for some peace and quiet yet minutes from the centre of town.
The Smithy can be booked with The Granary, The Hayloft, The Byre, The Stable and The Tack Room to accommodate up to 14 guests.
