In the heart of the Scottish countryside The View is the perfect get away location, quiet secluded but close to a huge range of activities. The apartment is 3 miles from the Glendronach Distillery and 36 miles from Dufftown the home of Glenfiddich and the start of the Whisky tour of Scotland.
A pretty private garden at the back of the property through the French doors includes a firepit/BBQ and small patio. At the front of the property is a small, grassed and pebbled area with BBQ and outdoor kitchen area led to via the kitchen or side path. From the private balcony the sunset over the mountains looking towards Huntly and Dufftown can be truly spectacular. Low local light levels mean tremendous starry skies.
The property is 18 miles from the Northeast Coast, including the towns of Banff, Fraserburgh and stunning beaches. 17 miles from the largest local town of Inverurie, 8 miles from the historic town of Turriff, the home of the Turra Coo! And 11 miles from Huntly. Huntly is one of the area’s largest towns and is home to some of the region’s greatest tourist attractions including the ruins of Huntly Castle. The castle, in its heyday, was the majestic home to one of the county’s most prominent Catholic’s, the Earls of Huntly. Local Castles within 15 miles include, Huntly, Fyvie and Dalgetie. Activities in the area include horse riding, Whisky tours, Walking and cycling, leisure centres, golf and of course shopping in Aberdeen, 33 miles.
